The scariest and most remote hike I ever did. Only 3 days, but deep into the Yukon wilderness in prime grizzly bear habitat. We didn't encounter the bears, but the tracks were everywhere. In 2003 this was still allowed for 2 people, at the time this writing that is deemed to risky. The scenery was stunning with the fall colors and the northern lights. The sense of remoteness and vulnerablity was all-encompassing. One of the deepest, most gratifying hikes I ever made.
