Bryce Canyon NP, Utah

• May 2003, with Petra (40 km in 3 days.   2   )

Hiking Bryce Canyon, one of the most spectacular sceneries in the world! We ran into trouble, but also pushed through it. Our second campsite was dry, despite the guarantee from the park ranger that we would find water there. We basically had to walk 2 days in 1 to get to the next water source, and half way we ran out of drink. That was scary, and a lesson. Another beautiful hike nevertheless!
