West Highland Way, Scotland

The classic 8 day West Highland Way. Rain, mud and sheep shit. But what an adventure. Long days, but in the end we always ended in a warm B&B with a meal and a fire. For a solitary camping hiker, it was quite a social event. But it was like living in another universe also, together with all these other dirty, sweaty, struggling and happy hikers. A beautiful, beautiful trip!
